Brianna lives in Chicago, and Liam is in the Navy in Madison, WI; but, long distance is only a small hurdle for this adorable couple who met in college at Notre Dame.  

The couple came out to California to visit Bri’s family and mark a few items off their wedding to do list. Bri and Liam will be married in February of 2023 at St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, CA. We were thrilled to meet the pair during their visit, and photograph their engagement session at the gorgeous Terreana Resort in Palos Verdes.

This was Danielle and my fist engagement session at the resort, and it did not disappoint. This premier luxury destination resort offers sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and Spanish Architecture. The landscaping is a beautiful example of Southern California with tall cactus, palm trees and bright flowers; in short, there was no shortage of backdrops! We could have easily spent a couple more hours at the resort capturing it all.  We suggest giving yourselves ample time if you plan your engagement session here.  

After shooting on the hotel steps we made our way through the manicured walk ways, and finally down the dirt path to the ocean. One of the many things we loved was the rocky beach, which offered a different look to the sandy beaches we are used to in South Orange County. Bri and Liam were light-hearted, and fun to be around. Bri has an infectious smile and Liam is easy-going and happy to nuzzle or kiss his bride to be. They ended the evening by climbing onto the rocky bluffs, and dodging waves before the sun disappeared into the ocean.

We had so much meeting you both and we can't wait for your wedding. We are here for you every step of the way!
