Catherine and Connor met at the Sherman Oaks Galleria and had their first date at Dave & Busters. The date was eventful with Catherine losing her wallet and keys. Fortunately, they were returned at the end of the night which made the evening that much better. According to Catherine she had fun beating Connor at all the games, but of course Connor has his own version of the story!
The couple were engaged last May 2020 at the height of Covid! Connor had grand plans of surprising Catherine at 1,000 Steps Beach in Laguna with the whole family there to congratulate her. Unfortunately like many grand plans things changed! He found out the beach was locked and guarded due to Covid. He quickly shifted gears, started making calls to all the family and did a quick location switch. His effort paid off and the proposal went off without a hitch at Surf & Sand.
We were so excited to get to photograph Catherine and Connor’s engagement session at a new location for us! Jeffrey Park Open Space Trail in Irvine turned out to be gorgeous with so many different backdrops. This will definitely be one of our new go to locations! It is perfect for couples looking for a park engagement session. Catherine and Connor will be getting married in May at the Waterfront Resort in Huntington Beach so shooting their engagement session at a park will give them lots of different images in contrast to their beach wedding portraits.
The pair are such a pleasure to be around, nice and adorable! They enjoy working out together and said they had a great morning session, so they were in positive spirits and looking forward to their engagement shoot. We agree something about getting good exercise can really start your day off right! They were relaxed and easy to photograph!
We can’t wait for their wedding in May and look forward to spending more time with them!
