We love this couple! Gary and Colleen have the best spirits. They are so happy and easy-going. We first met Colleen and Gary in 2019 when we shot their engagement session at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. Like many couples their big 2020 wedding plans were derailed by Covid.  They decided to move forward with their vows as planned, but had to change their wedding to a simple, intimate affair at Colleen’s parents home in Moorpark. We were so happy to get to shoot this beautiful event, and just as thrilled when their original wedding day vision finally came to fruition this year.

Colleen and Gary renewed their vows and celebrated their one-year anniversary at the romantic West Lake Village Inn & Spa. Colleen got to wear the dress she had tucked away before the plans were halted by the pandemic. Although there was one small change; an extra bodice added to the dress in order to accommodate her growing belly. We were so excited to learn Colleen and Gary are expecting their first baby late this year! Colleen was glowing and her dress showed off her little baby bump perfectly! We can’t wait to meet the new addition to their family!

There were lots of highlights to the day, including the couple's first look (always a favorite of ours), and the cake cutting. However, the moment that we think really got the party started in the evening was when Gary cut loose and showed everyone “How to Dougie”.  The dance floor was jumping! We can tell Colleen and Gary have a bright future together and will make lots of fun memories! They are truly an adorable pair.
