Deborah and Tim are the sweetest couple. Throughout their day, we spotted them naturally showing signs of affection and thoughtfulness toward one another. When Deborah laughed or had a particularly joyous moment she would comfortably rest her head on Tim’s shoulder. It was a small gesture, but it was brimming with love, and we couldn’t help but notice. The pair are clearly made for each other. They met on a dating website when Deborah was just about to call it quits. They were immediately drawn to each other due to their love of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda. Covid restrictions didn't stop them from finding true love. Even with a zoom call as their first date, they hit it off immediately!

Since it was Zelda that brought them together it only made sense she would be a theme throughout their wedding day. They chose teal, green and gold as their wedding colors; each color from different Legend of Zelda video games. Deborah’s earrings—a gift from Tim, were an image of Navi the fairy who is a recurring character in the series. The groom and groomsmen all wore tie clips with Navi. Placed on top of the wedding cake was a Zelda figure; and when they cut the cake the bright green color of the game was revealed. One of our favorite touches was their move away from the traditional processional song; instead they walked down the aisle to Zelda's Lullaby from the game Ocarina of Time.  We loved that they made their wedding unique and special to them. We think something all couples should remember when planning their wedding is THERE ARE NO RULES! It's your day and it should be the wedding of your dreams!

The couple married at one of our favorite restaurants Shenandoah at the Arbor in our hometown of Los Alamitos! The charming Southern restaurant has a beautiful patio under ancient trees which provided the perfect spot for Deborah and Tim to say their vows. After the ceremony the patio was transformed into their reception space with long table seating and twinkle lights. It was a romantic and dream-like wedding full of love and laughter!

We are excited to say the newly Mr and Mrs Gold are thrilled to be expecting a baby girl later this year. We know they will be amazing parents and we can't wait to see what their future holds, we are sure it will be a life filled with happiness!
