Landon officially won Erica over on their fourth date when he brought her a box of her favorite chocolate chip cookies. She had mentioned it on their first date and he remembered! We love a guy who listens to the details!  Five years later, they tied the knot at The London Hotel in West Hollywood on a perfect day! The sky was a beautiful blue for their roof top portraits, and the sun radiated the same warm glow as the couple. Erica was stunning in her white tulle dress which spread around her perfectly in a fun photo of her and Landon laying on the ground taking in the sun, the day, and each other.

There are many ways to make your first look special whether it be prior to the ceremony or walking down the aisle. For Erica and Landon, they wanted their first look to be a very private affair with no visible cameras. To give them their special moment, but still capture the memory we staged ourselves out of sight and used a long lens. We were still able to get some touching photos that they can look back on and remember the moment by.

I know we sound like a broken record, but we just love the first look and Erica and Landon did not disappoint! It's a special way to take a moment, connect and take a deep breathe before the day officially starts. First look, provides a way for us to capture the couple together in the intimate, emotional experience. We promise, a first look does not spoil the ceremony. The walk down the aisle can be just as emotional, but the couple is not together in those photos.  Of course everyone has their preferences and we are happy to oblige. I admit my husband was adamant he see me for the first time walking down the aisle, so I let him have that one :).  It's your wedding and you can do whatever moves you.

Erica and Landon were married on the lawn of the Hampton Court in a gorgeous ceremony with the friends and family. Following their ceremony the couple joined their party and let loose in the Kensington Ballroom of the London West Hollywood.
