We spent New Years day with Jenna and Darius at one of our favorite wedding venues—the VIP Palazzo, a private 32,000 sq. ft. mansion in San Clemente. This gorgeous wedding venue provides endless photo ops and evokes the true elegance of a grand European estate with a Southern California flare. An impressive arcade for the groomsmen, and a spacious room filled with beautiful natural light for the bride and her bridesmaids, make photographing the couple getting ready simple and fun!

The outstanding team from VIP Events and Weddings including owner Sanya Strelec did a fantastic job as always making sure Jenna and Darius’ wedding went smoothly and looked beautiful! Spending the day and night with this group of vendors and Jenna, Darius and their families was the perfect way to kick off our new year. Jenna and Darius are a beautiful, friendly and smart couple. We loved hearing about how they met in college at UCSB, and stories told by Darius’ brother during the toasts.  They are all smiles together and full of love!

The couple married at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic church in Newport Beach. Then headed back to the private estate for the reception. They made their grand entrance appearing at the top of the dual sweeping staircases; dancing their way down the stairs toward one another other; meeting under the 10-foot crystal chandelier. Next the party really kicked off as they began a wedding march. Guests joined the couple in a conga line shaking their hips to a dance version of “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”.  This really set the tone of the wedding and had Danielle and I wishing we could jump in ourselves!  

We love this couple and while we know they are busy with medical school we wish them an amazing first year of marriage and many more to come.
