Kate and Daniel’s wedding was special to me right from the beginning. Not only did we hit it off during our first conversation, but instead of a formal engagement session they invited me to shoot their photos at their engagement party.  This ended up being a great way for me and the whole family to get to know each other. Come their wedding date everything was so comfortable and inviting—I felt like a part of the family! They also have a lot of twins in their family which made for some fun conversations with Deanne and I.

Kate and Daniel got married at the gorgeous Temecula Creek Inn. This was our first time shooting here and we absolutely loved it! The venue offers tons of beautiful locations to take portraits!  Every time we thought we were done, we couldn’t help but say, oh one more please!!!  Fortunately Kate and Daniel were always happy to oblige. The location is so serene and romantic, all outdoors with gorgeous string lights and farm tables. There were lawn games including corn hole and a putting area, a cigar bar and a classy, comfortable sitting area away from the dance floor. The Stone House adjacent to the dance floor offered a cozy place to sit by the fireplace and relax, or to look through the large display of old and new family photos and memories of loved ones.  We love looking at old black and white wedding photos.  Of course the Stone House was also home to the yummy desserts—cake, small pastries and best of all who can resist a Donut Wall after a night of dancing and celebration?!!

The party was a hit with one of the best bands we’ve seen—Downtown LA/FM. They were full of energy, had a huge array of music and great voices! They had the dance floor packed.  Ladies kicked off their heels, grabbed a pair of slippers and hit the dance floor in full comfort. What a great idea!

Kate looked absolutely stunning, and Daniel (who we call Thor—anyone else see the resemblance?) has the friendliest smile—they are quite the pair!  We love you both and were so happy to be your wedding photographers! Congratulations and we look forward to seeing how your family grows.
