We had the honor of shooting Lillian and Jonathan’s wedding at the beautiful Private Estate in Orange County. VIP Events and Weddings did a great job coordinating the event and made everything look perfect.  Danielle and I decided we could happily live there!  

While the ladies were busy getting ready, the guys setup in a large game room. Here they kept themselves entertained playing arcade games, ski ball, pool and toasting at the large bar which they stocked with pizza, martinis and beer.  Even the bride and groom’s fathers joined in on the fun.

The girls had their own fun while getting ready, drinking champagne and goofing around with each other. Lillian even challenged her sister in a friendly arm wrestling competition. Nothing like a bride in her wedding dress showing off her muscle!

Lillian’s first look with her dad was one of our favorites of the year. When he saw his daughter for the first time you could see on his face how very proud he was. Even Danielle, Jamie (All Because He Asked)  and I teared up a bit.

Not long out of college Jonathan had many of his fraternity brothers at the wedding. They serenaded him and his new wife during the reception, it was such a fun tradition. The couple also played the “how well do you know your spouse game” sitting back to back and holding up their shoes to represent him or her. When the dancing started Danielle and I had to hold back from setting our cameras down and joining in. The music made us want to dance and apparently everyone else too, as the dance floor was always packed.

Lillian and Jonathan are so warm and friendly, and at the end of the evening insisted we join them for a drink. Thank you both for making us feel so welcome. We love you and wish you all the very best in your new adventure together!
