We had such an amazing time meeting Lindsey and Andy at their intimate Dana Point wedding. We love this couple! They are friendly, down-to-earth, relaxed, and always smiling. Andy’s silly personality and his cheerful smile was infectious; and Lindsey was glowing and radiating joy.
The couple got ready at the beautiful Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach, where they also did their first look. Located on the coastal bluff along the Pacific, the Montage Resort offers gorgeous views and a stunning setting for a first look between the bride and the groom.
For their ceremony, the happy couple married in Dana Point at Compass Point Heritage Park. Following the ceremony, the chairs were removed and the location transformed into the dance floor complete with white rose pedals covering the surface. Guests circled around to watch the couple in their first dance as Mr and Mrs. Following the dances, the guests headed to the reception dinner at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach; and we set off to the Arches of Dana Point for husband and wife photos.
The Arches are remnants of Dana Point Inn, that was built in the 1930s by real estate mogul, S.H. Woodruff (established Hollywoodland, aka the location of the famous Hollywood sign). Unfortunately, the stock market crash and the Great Depression halted construction; ending his dream. The Dana Point Inn was never completed and sold in 1939 after sitting empty. The Arches were originally going to be large windows overlooking the marina. Now the arches offer a beautiful backdrop for wedding portraits.
We hope you enjoy checking out some of our favorite photos from this intimate wedding. Congratulations to Lindsey and Andy we wish you all of the best and lots of adventures and laughs together.
