This couple was truly a delight to photograph and spend the day with! Mara and Brian along with their families and friends were so welcoming, kind, and fun!  We started the day at the Westlake Village Inn where the couple was getting ready. This property is beautiful and has vine covered paths that are perfect for a private first look.  We love catching the smile on the groom's face when he sees his bride for the first time, and Brian did not disappoint.  

The pair married at St. Jude Catholic Church in Westlake Village, a warm and bright church with a priest who could rival any broadway star. He sang a portion of the service and we were all in awe over his voice. What an amazing touch to an already special ceremony.  Following the service, we made our way to the reception venue in Camarillo.

The Spanish Hills Club is set on a hill overlooking a beautiful, manicured golf course. The indoor reception space is bright and cozy with large windows and a fireplace. Its romantic atmosphere and elegance make it a perfect wedding venue for a joyful evening. Between the ceremony and the reception we had lots of time for photos. This put everyone at ease and made for a relaxed portrait session. Mara and Brian are adorable together falling into poses without much direction. When the couple made their grand entrance into the reception everyone had huge smiles on their faces and you can tell this was a group ready to celebrate! The reception was filled with beautiful toasts, a touching first dance the couple dancing on clouds, and lots of dancing!
