We had been looking forward to Raina and Sonny’s black-tie wedding since we met them at their engagement shoot earlier this year. What a truly adventurous, fun, loving and kind couple! During their wedding they played a slide show featuring photos from both their lives leading up to their wedding day. It was so much fun seeing all the fun things they’ve done and getting a real view of who they are.When you watch them together you can see how in love they are, and that together they are complete. Sonny has a “winning” smile (as one of his groomsmen put it) that radiates happiness, and Raina is not only stunning, but she’s athletic, talented (she plays the drums—pretty cool) and is genuinely nice.  

The couple was married at the The US Grant, a luxury hotel in San Diego. Their wedding like the venue was quietly upscale and sophisticated.Guests all wore black dresses and black suits/tuxes, so the couple shone.  Walking down the aisle, Raina was a true princess wearing a diamond covered crown and a long veil like cape draped around her shoulders. The ceremony was elegant, with romantic chandeliers and huge bouquets of beautiful smelling white roses. Their personalized toasts were special and glimpse into the unbridled love they share.

When the couple made their grand entrance Raina had changed into an equally beautiful white reception gown. Her and Sonny were glowing as they entered the ballroom as Mr. and Mrs. Lintag. Following their introduction as Mr.and Mrs., they acknowledged Veterans Day and honored those who had served, includingRaina’s grandpa and dad.

The pair started the dancing off with a perfect first dance full of twirls and smiles. When they did the Father/Daughter, Mother/Son dances(Aways one of sis’ and my favorite parts) they played photos of them with their parents on the projector in the background this was a special touch we just loved.

The toasts at Raina and Sonny’s wedding were also a highlight. Each toast was funny and heartfelt. Sonny’s dad’s toast had all of us laughing as he described his first meeting with Raina and how lucky his son was. It’s clear to see how proud Raina and Sonny’s parents are of them.

We feel grateful that our last wedding of the year was such a beautiful and fun one. Of course it was also a bonus that we shot this one with our partner and Danielle's husband Jamie, All Because He Asked Wedding Videography. Thank you for having us Raina and Sonny, it was such a pleasure getting to know you and your families. We can’t wait to see where all your adventures and travels take you.
