Having met while living on opposite sides of the United States, Susan and Hemanth didn’t have the luxury of dating long; but they knew it was right!  So when Hemanth proposed during the final (and sweetest) course on a date night, Susan joyfully said “Yes”!   We can see what Susan sees in Hemanth. He has the happiest demeanor and glows when he is around her.  Susan is sweet, friendly and beautiful! We think the two are a perfect pair.

The couple were married at the beautiful Laguna Cliff’s Marriott overlooking Dana Point. This beach-chic venue sits along the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean that provides awe inspiring views.

Unfortunately, Susan’s parents could not make it from India for the wedding, so her sister and brother-in-law walked her down the aisle. Susan’s sister was super supportive, always holding Susan's hand and being right by her side (it goes without saying, but we love the bond between sisters)! Thankfully, Susan’s parents and the couple's other family and friends who could not attend were able to watch the wedding via a live stream.  In a special touch the groom's grandfather--a Pasteur delivered a part of the ceremony.

After the first dance, and a round of toasts, the couple snuck away for a change of clothing. Awaiting the return of the newlyweds, guests enjoyed themselves feasting on a mix of savory Indian dishes made by Manohar Delhi Palace. Now wearing something more comfortable and traditional Susan and Hemanth made their second grand entrance. The evening followed with professional dancers serenading the couple, more speeches and the cake cutting. The bride and groom lovingly fed each other, and then were fed by family members.

When the dancing started the floor filled fast with guests brightly dressed, and happy to celebrate the occasion. Everyone looked like they were having such a great time on the dance floor it was hard for us not to join in ourselves!
